CAlls as many as twenty times a day...when I answer they tell me I qualify for Obama's loan program for which I applied. I never applied of course, but this persists. They call sometimes very early and very late as well. They are the worst caller nuisance I have had to deal with.

MAJOR SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!! OK, I visited a site the other day that looked like a legitimate site from google where you could make money from home with them. When I signed up for it something seemed fishy to me at the end and I did some research and sure enough found out it was a scam! At that point though, I had entered my email and phone number. Since then, they have been calling me like every hour. So I just read all of these posts and I answered the phone when they called back. I told them I was out of work and have no credit cards right now. I told them I could mail them a payment if they give me an address (of course all b.s.). The lady on the phone got angry that I did not have any credit cards and said for me to just call them when I get one. I told her sure thing and hung up. I have not had any phone calls since then. Been called at least 20 times in the last three days, all hours..Wish it would stop, put on the reject list but still shows missed call...So annoyed.

I have also been constantly harrassed by live persons from this phone number and the more I decline to answer the more often they call. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the FCC and the Texas Consumer Act Department.

My number is a MagicJack connection and is listed on the national register of DO NOT CALL numbers. These people should be fined $100.oo for every unsolicited call and the money split between those who were called and the government agency doing the monitoring of complaints.

I have had over twenty calls a day from this number for the last six months. i'm glad i have unlimited minutes on my CELL PHONE. at one point, after fifteen or so calls and about half a bottle of captain morgan, i decided to mess with them a little bit. i pretended to be an illegal mexican immigrant that didn't have a credit card, but had someone else's card from a wallet i had stolen. against all morals, ethics, and descent business-like behavior, they continued to hassle me for the STOLEN CREDIT CARD NUMBER! it's amazing. i have reported them to the better business bureau, the ftc, and any other government agency that would listen to me, even recalling the incident just described. i've received numerous emails thanking me for my reports, etc. but have yet to see any action agains this "company." it's always the same person that calls (Grace), even though she sometimes has an american voice, sometimes and indian voice, i've asked to speak to supervisors when they've called, and have been hung up on, i've asked to be put on the do not call list, and been hung up on, i've tried to be nice to them and explain that i do not have a credit card, so that even if i wanted their service, it would be impossible for me, and was hung up on. i've been rude, and been hung up on, i've made threats, pretended this wasn't my number, tried to explain that this is a cell phone, called them back at least thirty times within an hour to harass them back, pretty much any fun entertaining thing i could think of, and every time it's the same...."click." i am on the national do not call list, so there's no reason they would even call me unless it was a scam. no idea where they got my number from, and have resorted to saving their number in my cell phone as "bu***hit grant a**holes." that's the only thing i've had any luck with. 5 or 6 calls already today and it's only 2pm, but i've just stopped answering them. i reported them again to the ftc today and was informed that my complaint has been updated and that they aren't even listed as a real company and that the ftc can't really do anything, because they have no address listed and when they've called the number they get hung up on also. at a loss.

I even went so far as to tell them that the cell number they were calling was my work number and that I worked in bereavement for a funeral home and that they were interrupting my work. Still called. I have blocked the number from calling. I called the phone company and they stated to use *60, you have to make sure that it's a feature with your services. One night of peace! No calls now! Life is good, if they call again from another number then I will block that number as well. I was able to find all the numbers to that company and blocked the main numbers that call my house! OK, I know where this came from, i hope. I filled out some information for a google work from home scam for $1.99, I never went thru with it but had entered my info unfortunetly. So, I wrote down the number and when it showed up again, I pretended that I was some slow speaking retard who had no job and I even pretended to want to give her my SS# and credit card number she said not necessary, until she got to the end of her pitch, she then said it would costt me $1.99 to have this shipped to me, AH HA! thats when I realized it was the GOOGLE scam that wanted $1.99 also. they havent called back since. thats the truth. However, it's next to impossible to get off their call list as I do not believe any real people actually work there. They've been relentless for 2 weeks now. They called starting at 7:46AM this morning. I've filed a complaint with the FCC and spoken to 3 people today at this "Government Grants" office to tell them to take me off their calling list. It obviously hasn't worked. I hope the FCC shuts them down.

I have been receiving calls since I tried to search something about "Full-Tuition Scholarship and Internships Available" and to find out I entered all the information that was asked and one of it is my pre-paid Cell Phone Number. And one day after that, I received several calls from universities, colleges, technology institutes, and one from 213-430-4297; wherein at first I was asked if I inquired from the internet about money grants. I said, yes: then she said; they are processing Government Money Grant, which she said I can use it for business, housing, education, or any way I wish and it is money need not to be repaid back. And, she said further; she will be mailing a packet of application for my use, then she asked me how I intend to pay for the mailing fee of $1.98; will it be Credit Card or Debit Card. I said, I pay in Cash; by then she said that is not an option they have, and again she asked me how I wish to pay: Credit or Debit ; I said Cash. Then, she hung-up. Thenon the following morning, here came another call from the same number and the same phrases of statement, I said; Cash. Then, as usual, she hung-up, the third try was at night, I said; Cash. She hung-up, then everyday there are calls from the same number but no one there, then everyday; no one answering. I tried to call back and at several occasion it's an answering machine of "all phones are busy at the moment servising other clients, please wait, your call is important to us", I waited: then said," please stay on the line and we will be with you shortly". Nothing came constructively. Lately, I deviced a way how to get rid of the annoying calls, which turned deminished everyday, yesterday I got just one call; and hopefully it will be the last. Thsi is how I did it, I placed the 1-213-430-4297 to my contact list and named it "Spam Call", so everytime there's a call, I check it, if it appears "Spam Call" then I do not acknowledge.

I have told them to stop calling at least 10 times and my grandma and my fiancee have called them as well to stop calling me. They gave me 877-495-1145 to call as their customer service number and I told them to stop calling and that didn't work either because the 877-495-1145 didn't know anything about the grant center office and they said they had been getting complaints about the 213-430-4297 for a long time. This is harassment and I have found tons of websites with complaints like this I don't understand why something hasn't been done yet.

Received my first call at 5:45 p.m. A foreign lady asked me if I had inquired about government grants, free money. I told her that it didnt sound familiar and hung up. Over the next three hours they called me 13 more times. I told them to F'Off, that I was reporting them to the BBB, and that I wanted to talk to there supervisor. After 5 or 6 calls I answered and just left the phone on the table, they eventually hung up after twenty seconds. I tried to call them back but was unsuccessful. On a side note, they are now labeled as OBAMA in my phone. If the calls continue I will report them to the BBB.

Sign up the number for call blocking with your cell phone provider. It is free, and it works. The calls all stopped. However, after 60 days you must re-register the number. Good luck

It's always an automated call. Somehow, they managed to get my home number as well as my cell number. They call me at least 15-20 times PER DAY. There is no identifying information. They have called as early as 6 AM and as late as 10 PM, which is AGAINST ILLINOIS LAW! This is harassment, and I've never been able to get through to a real live person to tell them to stop calling me. Every time I try, it disconnects. I've researched this number online and it's either a phony debt collector (who must not be licensed in this state, or just breaks the law regardless) or a scam grant company.

I hav been reciving calls from this number for almost 2 weeks now. I talked to a guy that said is name is Eric Lee twice and different people for a total of 11 time asking them to stop calling. ive been getting calls from this number since 7:15 my time in ohio...ive ignored 7 of the calls and finally i answered it,, they asked me if i knew an anita warnock, i said yes and then she said she was a nurse that there was a bad trucking accident, tht anita warnock was being air lifted from california to indiana then home, that she was in very critical condition and the man that was in the semi wasnt able to be moved that they didnt thik he would make it through the day....wanted insurance and credit info to beable to bill this...i have had to leave work and go home to make calls to our imedt family because my sister nita and her husband are a team that are owner ops of there own trucking company.... i finally found out that neither of them was in this so call semi truck wreck...ive also contacted the local investagtor in california and in my state to make reports on this matter... this has cause ALOT OF STRESS AND BREAK DOWNS IN MY FAMILY THINKING THAT ONE OF OUR SISTERS AND HER HUSBAND WAS IN CRITICAL AND TOWARDS DEATH ...
