I just received a call arom 265-00-2899 and when I did not answer they did not leave a message on my answering machine. I have reveived calls form that number several times a week and like the individual who wrote in above when I asked that I be removed from their list I am hung up on.

Several times a week as well as Monthly I receive calls from: 265-0002899 and from: 625-000-8892, when you answer these calls, you get an automated message explaining that they are from a Credit Card Company (appearing as though it is from your Card Company), and then they state that, although there is no problem with your card at this time, press #9 to speak to a live operator to see about lowering your Credit Card Rates, and when you press #9 an Credit Service Rep., will answer and as I did state: "How do I get my name off this list?" She hung up immediatley, and when you try calling back this number which comes in as a "Name not found," number on Caller ID, you cannot access the number at all! This needs to be stopped and is Bogus, and mis-leading getting and luring ones who do actually talk to a Rep after pressing #9, and giving all information on thier Credit Card Accounts I can only imagine what takes place next! This should be stopped and investigated by the Attorney Generals Office, and shut & prosecute these places! Also with every call recieved you will also be told that this is your last chance to do all the above! Very Mis-leading and Bogus!!!
