I called back and pressed 1 to be removed from their call list. That was three weeks ago! I still get called multiple times daily!!!! When I ask to speak with a supervisor I am yelled at by the caller.

"Private Testing" called me at 1:23 PM CDT. I called back on my cell and got a recording that thanked me for "calling back", and offering to remove my number from their list if I want to opt out of their "special promotions". Not vague at all!

I got a missed call and was looking around at whom this might be (not many people have or use my pay-per-use phone)... it was 402-982-0846. Reverse phone look-up shows it is this Citistream Communications in NE, UGH. Glad I missed THAT call!

My apologies for my previous "Credit Services" post. The number I received the call on was 402-982-0771. Apparently this scumware company has a whole range of numbers.

Message has now switched to "Last chance to reduce Credit Card interest rates". It is good to see that at least the state of Texas is doing something about this.

Per your suggestion called 475-4211. Found out it is not the same person. This preson with similar name works for a city utility and building a jail too and has noting to do with telemarketing. Also I sent an email to david@tmcallerid and complained. David indicted he will put a Block on our number. David indicted their telemarketing customers originated the calls and not the telephone companies. David seems to know which telemarketing is making the call since they resell numbers to many telemarketing firms they have business with. David indicted they cannot privide the name of the telemarketing firms unless they are served by a subpeonea. I suggest call David Nelson at TMcallerID and complaint. Received phone call from 402-982-0707. They are calling regarding lowering your interest rates. I played along. Gave a fake name and proceeded to listen to what they had to say. After "Maurice's" sales pitch, I told him that I had a problem with the last representative I told to take my name off the list. I told the previous rep that I was on a do not call list. His exact words to me were "F@@k your do not call list Bit@#, WE'S gonna call you anyway. Maurice said he was new and sorry this happened to me and gave me to his floor supervisor. Probably the person in the next cubicle. After I complained, she stated that I am trying to defraud her company and waste her employee's time. She stated that "Absolutely not, no one here would harass and swear at you. I listen in on every phone call." I found another telephone number on their company website that you can call if you are looking to hire them to provide you with call center people. Their number is 402-982-0200. Also, there is a Krishna Amancherla who works for Lincoln Electric at 402-475-4211. HAS to be the same person. Maybe someone can bombard this person at work with crazy phone calls.

After we talked to him he registered three telephone numbers of ours with DO-NOT-Call registry. We have not received any telemarketing calls for the past 10 days. If you have not registered your telephone with the DO-NOT-CALL REGISTRY, telemarketing firms can keep calling you. No point getting hassled and calling telephone companies or carriers who own the telephone numbers. Carriers do not have have control on how their telephone service is being used as long as a customer pays the bill. Carriers cannot disconnect or shut down a customer who is paying the bill. Only regulators has authority to shutdown or disconnect a customer through an order. Don't blame the carrier who own the telephone number. Plus carrier cannot give customer information unless it is a supeona issued by regulatory authority. Telemarketing firms obtains hundreds ro thousands of telephone numbers from various carrier within US and initiate calls. Hope this understanding help all of you who are getting these calls. Currently regulators are working with the carriers trying to find the source on which telemarketing firms is making these unwanted calls. For the record they know these calls are not coming from telephone company who officially own the telephone numbers.

receiving multiple calls (from multiple numbers) on my mobile phone, with a pre-recorded, "... your auto warranty has expired..." message. the number given by caller ID is an auto dialer and does not allow inbound calls. have tried "option 1" "option 2" and "ignoring/not answering" calls. All with the same result - continued calls. Blocking the number does not work because the calls come from other numbers (from various states in the US) as soon as the original is blocked. isn't crossing sate lines a felony?

Calls about extending a warranty on my vehicle. I do not even own a vehicle and I get these calls at least twice a day. I have selected 2 as an option to be removed from the list but have only received twice as many calls. I have also selected option 1 and never get threw to a representative. I get the calls from several different area codes and I am becoming very annoyed.

Caller continues to call claiming to have a final call on an auto warranty but hangs up when I try to talk to them

I got to a person and as soon as I asked them to remove me from their list, they hung up on me. Next time, I'm going to give them fake info they want and if they start asking for bank or credit card info I'll just tell them I'm going to report them to my state Attorney General. Surely a scam. I have a feeling it has nothing to do about my car warranty.

just recieved a call from this phone number and 5 min later my co-worker recieved a call from the same number. Pressing 2 doesn't work, it just prompts other numbers to call as they know the number will go to a human...

Tire of the warranty calls, they come from every state in the friggin' nation. Last one was from Nebraska #402-902-0669. I asked for the name of the company and told them that I wanted to be removed for the 10th time. Anyone knows how to report and get this to stop please let me know, I am tired of them calling my cell phone.

By answering and waiting on the line, you can hit option 2 to be removed from the list. Some of these numbers you can call, and you'll be removed too. But then I was hit with the same scheme again (maybe a different number, or call group?) Regardless it is spam, and they are calling every phone number in the book. Poor fax line gets hit 2 times a day! All lines are on the "do not call" list, and yet I don't see their business being called to court by federal prosecutors?!

This is the second time I've had to ask. him: Well sir, I am sure you are aware there are different companies. me: It's the same message. Next time I'll ask for the warranty just to see who they work for, and turn them over to the state Attorney General's office who is investigating these calls.
