This number has called us daily for the past 3-5 days. They ask for Cindy Call. When we say they have the wrong number, they say the call will be monitored for quality purposes. We asked them to stop calling and they have not. We believe this must be a dangerous scam. Please investigate.

I have received several calls from the number 888-748-4956 and have never had a capital one or any other credit card.

Called at 7:45 a.m. and left a message. We are in good standing with Capitol One.

Called my house phone twenty times this weekend. I don't have a credit card and I don't have any debt. Seriously annoying. I'm going to start blasting Slayer into the phone every time they call.

This number calls my phone about 8 or more times a day. I do not have any accounts with ====. Stop calling me. Most of the time they just hold the phone, whisper to each other hang up and call me back. Get a life and get the right number.

I have received 30 phone calls from this company in three days,this is after I spoke with a person calling and asked them to stop. I asked who was calling but I was not able to understand the name of the company. The person just kept asking if a specific person was there. I told the person on line not to call again....30 more phone calls and they still keep calling,all hours of day and night.

They called at 1:51 am. They called at 3:50 am. They called at 5:30 am. Until i unplugued the phone then they called again at 8:30 am when i pluged it back to the wall. When i asked who it was they didn't say. All they wanted to know was if so & so lived there. i replied. No. And they hung up again.

These m*****s won't quit. They called 6 times on new years eve and 5 times on new years day. They were looking for someone with my last name so I quit answering. What a horrible waste of time. They must get paid by the number of contacts attempted.

I have been getting a dozen calls a day from 888-748-4956. No one ever says anything--just three short beeps. I'm unable to call them back. I have great credit and there is no reason for me to be receiving these calls.

When I read about these snakes, I decided to fight back. They called my phone number at least 3 times today and a couple of times last night looking for someone I don't even know. I have never had a Capital One Card nor will I ever have one. So today, I started calling their line back. I made it quite clear that I wanted my name off their lists. The reps kept telling me that it takes 36 hours. I told them that each time they call in those 36 hours that I will call their line and request a supervisor even if it takes 3 calls before I reach a supervisor and that I will report each call as a complaint to the Do Not Call Registry and that I would file complaints with every consumer agency possible. I said that I would record each call and would write to both Capital One and Interstate Collections to make sure it's documented. I stated this was an invasion of my privacy and harassment. The supervisor then told me that she had removed me from their system immediately and that I would receive no more calls from them. We'll see. I'm ready to go to battle with these scumbags.

I get at least five calls a day from this number. I never get a message, and no one's on the line on the rare occasion I answer.

Phone number 888-748-4956 has been calling my cell phone for the past week. Yesterday they called 10 times, they leave no messages and when I answer it hangs up. I called the number back and it asks for my account number, it does not specify what account they are needing. I hung up because I figured it was a scam.

i received a call from this number this morning around 8 am. after looking up the number, i blocked the number from my phone. to date (as in just today), this number has attempted to call me 14 times! although the number is blocked, the phone rings once, "caller blocked" appears. incredibly annoying.

They call multiple times a day, even on Sundays. They've now started calling my business number. I don't have a Capitol One credit card. Get these idiots stopped!

Yes, they call me 7 am on a Sunday, then again several times at night.. no one answers, there is no message - this is just a revenge caller out just to annoy people..

This number calls multiple times a day usually every 2 to 3 hours starting at around 830 am. From the research i did online it seems to be a capital one collection agency. However I don't even know anyone with a capital one account or credit card. I answered and asked how they got our number and got hung up on. They don't leave a message either.
