8/21: Called 11 freaking times from 8:05 am until 7:35 pm
8/22: First call at 8:26, 2nd call at 9:22 at which point I was sick of it and waited for the auto-dialer to put the live person on. I told her to take me off the calling list. She said "I'm sorry for the inconvenience ..." and then went into her sales script, at which point I VERY loudly said TAKE ME OFF OF YOUR LIST AND DO NOT EVER CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN. They've left me alone so far.

Keeps calling on Sunday starts before 8:00 am and continues throughout the day.

They have called our number now for two weeks straight, every hour on the hour starting early A.M. I have had it. I have called them back asking that they take my number of the list. No luck. I have asked them now on three different occasions not to call here and they are still calling. I am on the do=not-call register and that is of no help. I have made a complaint to the FCC, but they say people can call as many times as they want. Collections laws are funny from state to state, federal states no more than three calls a week. I am at the end of my rope with this number. I have sung to them, asked if I could help them in any way and they just hang up. Let's get them to stop!

Repeated phone calls to my cell for my card #. I have no debts. They are pests and annoying.

Calls at least twice a day, always hangs up when answer machine comes on. Very disturbing and upsetting as they call early in the morning and when we are eating dinner.

I have listed on my cellphone thirty (30) calls from 888-749-4956 all of them having been made on the same day.

These so called collection agencies are a Joke! Just today have received 7 calls, requested any info to be sent by mail only and told them not to call my number anymore. They have been calling for about 1 month and are asking for DOB & SS# to verify debt, which I refuse to give them. They also refuse to give me the mailing address for correspondence. Was told today by my wife that I was out of town and still they continued to call her.

This number calls at least 10 times a day never leaves a message and starts calling at 8:30 in the Am and doesn't stop until about 9 at night and that's including Sundays.

I just called the number and demanded they take my number off. They said 2-3 business days. I said it better happen today. I have never had a Capital One card nor will I ever. That places harasses the hell out of people -- Capital One -- to get one of their credit cards. My credit rating is 820 and I have never had a past due bill or any kind. I don't know who to report them to.

This number has called us daily for the past 3-5 days. They ask for Cindy Call. When we say they have the wrong number, they say the call will be monitored for quality purposes. We asked them to stop calling and they have not. We believe this must be a dangerous scam. Please investigate.

This number calls my phone about 8 or more times a day. I do not have any accounts with ====. Stop calling me. Most of the time they just hold the phone, whisper to each other hang up and call me back. Get a life and get the right number.

I have received 30 phone calls from this company in three days,this is after I spoke with a person calling and asked them to stop. I asked who was calling but I was not able to understand the name of the company. The person just kept asking if a specific person was there. I told the person on line not to call again....30 more phone calls and they still keep calling,all hours of day and night.

They called at 1:51 am. They called at 3:50 am. They called at 5:30 am. Until i unplugued the phone then they called again at 8:30 am when i pluged it back to the wall. When i asked who it was they didn't say. All they wanted to know was if so & so lived there. i replied. No. And they hung up again.

I have been getting a dozen calls a day from 888-748-4956. No one ever says anything--just three short beeps. I'm unable to call them back. I have great credit and there is no reason for me to be receiving these calls.

When I read about these snakes, I decided to fight back. They called my phone number at least 3 times today and a couple of times last night looking for someone I don't even know. I have never had a Capital One Card nor will I ever have one. So today, I started calling their line back. I made it quite clear that I wanted my name off their lists. The reps kept telling me that it takes 36 hours. I told them that each time they call in those 36 hours that I will call their line and request a supervisor even if it takes 3 calls before I reach a supervisor and that I will report each call as a complaint to the Do Not Call Registry and that I would file complaints with every consumer agency possible. I said that I would record each call and would write to both Capital One and Interstate Collections to make sure it's documented. I stated this was an invasion of my privacy and harassment. The supervisor then told me that she had removed me from their system immediately and that I would receive no more calls from them. We'll see. I'm ready to go to battle with these scumbags.

Phone number 888-748-4956 has been calling my cell phone for the past week. Yesterday they called 10 times, they leave no messages and when I answer it hangs up. I called the number back and it asks for my account number, it does not specify what account they are needing. I hung up because I figured it was a scam.

i received a call from this number this morning around 8 am. after looking up the number, i blocked the number from my phone. to date (as in just today), this number has attempted to call me 14 times! although the number is blocked, the phone rings once, "caller blocked" appears. incredibly annoying.

However I don't even know anyone with a capital one account or credit card. I answered and asked how they got our number and got hung up on. They don't leave a message either.
