I just got a call from these people today (2/11/10) at 5 P.M. They knew my true, exact first and last name (unknown how) and they kept asking for (me) with my full name. I kept asking who was calling and they kept asking if (my name) was home. This went on for about a minute and then the male, who had a thick accent, told me to go "FU*K" myself and then hung up. The phone call sounded from a far away place as I heard an echo in the phone. They probably were telemarketers but I never got that far. I tried to call them back, but the call does not go through. Forgot to say that they call me Cell phone!

Call comes in, does not acknowledge connection when you pick up, and hangs up. On call back, you are directed that "your call did not go through, please call *611 (Verizon customer service from mobile phone)" Repeated calls, apparently from IVR system internally. ON calls to Customer service, claims they know nothing about it. Right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.
